ABOUT THE BAND
Crazy how that works.
Our Music Is Magic. And Also Science.
The Pulse is a rock band based in and native to the Raleigh/Durham area of North Carolina, Comprising 5 high school/college age musicians each with 5+ years of musical experience.
Many of our members have been working together making music for up to 8 years. Originally a six-piece group known as The Acoustic Eels in 2010, The Pulse has gone through several personnel and name changes (Second Breakfast) over the last few years.
We have a strong combination of great musical talent and stage energy. The Pulse always attempts to spread a strong message: protesting drug use and promoting equality for people of all sexual orientations. Pulling strong influence from the Red Hot Chili Peppers as well as classic rock, pop, and funk sounds, we have something for everyone.
